Never guess der, die or das again (and get corrected while you chat)
Ask any German learner what hurts most and you will hear the same three words: der, die, das. The article system has rules, the rules have exceptions, and the exceptions have exceptions. Meanwhile, every German noun you ever use needs one.
The article comes with the word, automatically
The honest fix is unglamorous: learn every noun with its article, from day one, every time. The problem is that dictionaries make you look it up separately, and most notes apps let you write "Termin = appointment" and move on, article forgotten.
KorrektWort removes the extra step. Type any German noun, even without the article, and the AI detects it for you: der Termin, die Rechnung, das Angebot. The article is stored with the word, shown on every card, and color-coded so your memory gets a second hook: blue for der, rose for die, green for das. After a few weeks the colors do something interesting: you start seeing the gender before you consciously recall it.
- Add "Rechnung", get die Rechnung, plural die Rechnungen.
- The article appears on the word card, in reviews, and in example sentences.
- Cloze reviews blank the word inside a real sentence, article context included.
Corrections while you talk, not after
Knowing a word and using it correctly are different skills. That is why KorrektWort has practice conversations: an AI tutor talks with you in German, using the words you saved, in real scenarios like the Bürgeramt, a job interview or small talk.
When you make a meaningful mistake, the tutor keeps the conversation flowing and adds a short, kind correction on the side, written in your language, and it explains the why: not just "it is mitgebracht", but that bringen has an irregular participle, like English bring/brought. Mistakes stop being embarrassing and become the fastest teacher you have.
